Vanessa Franko

Assistant editor Vanessa Franko oversees audience engagement for the Los Angeles Times’ Entertainment and Arts section. She was previously the digital director of entertainment and features at the Southern California News Group and held multiple titles at the Press-Enterprise in Riverside, including music and pop culture reporter. A Boston University grad from Maryland, she is a sports fanatic who has dozens of houseplants named after rock stars.
